Dear Woodstock Family and Customers,
Pondicherry, a boutique on the Village Green, has moved 8 miles west to Mount Tremper. We are working to create an online presence so the beautiful sweaters and dresses and other handicrafts from Auroville will still be available to you.
We just received a shipment of rope hammock chairs and hand-loomed hammocks along with wonderful probiotic soaps and ceramic and glass bead necklaces and bracelets.
My wife, Wendy, and I are also focusing on new infrastructure at Matagiri, a yoga center founded in 1968, where we serve on the Board of Trustees. Wendy has resumed yoga classes in our new straw bale building which has an air handler constantly bringing in fresh air. And we look forward to resuming our concert series there when it is safe for all.
In the meantime we’re holding regular study circles online and are adding relaxation and pranayama. Please visit our website www.matagiri.org for more information.
We have thoroughly enjoyed the past 28 years in town and will especially miss Halloween and Santa’s arrival on the Green.
Each year I try to make sure I purchase something from a different local merchant in town and hope you will do the same, especially from our neighbors Modern Mythology and the Garden Cafe. We’re grateful to all our landlords but especially Larry Lawrence and Paul Feasel who have kept our building so beautiful and provided many customers via the Village Green B&B through the years.
Much love,
Julian Lines, founder
